Alberto Fernandez Torres

Alberto Fernández Torres (Madrid, 1955). Bachelor's Degree in Economic Science from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master's in Literary and Theatrical Research and Training from the Spanish National Distance Education University.
He worked in the Spanish Electricity Industry Association (UNESA) from 1981 to 1998, and was Director of Public and Institutional Relations towards the end of this period. In 1998 he joined Endesa S.A., Spain's leading electricity company, and has been Managing Director of Communications since 2013.
He has been a contributing journalist for various Spanish media titles on economic and cultural topics since 1978, and has acted as a professor of subjects relating to economics, communication and cultural management on various degree and Master programmes in the Complutense and Carlos III Universities in Madrid and the International University of Rioja.
He has been a member of the Spanish Ministry of Culture's National Theatre Council since 1982, is author or co-author of dozens of books and takes part regularly in congresses and seminars on topics relating to economics and culture.
